How to Livestream Zoom on Facebook

Livestreaming your Zoom meetings on Facebook is a great way to engage wider audiences and share important discussions in real-time. Whether you're hosting a webinar, class, or company meeting, broadcasting on Facebook allows remote attendees to feel more present and involved.

The first step is to download the Zoom desktop client and create a free Zoom account if you don't already have one. Make sure to sign into the same Facebook profile that you'll use to share the live video. Then open the Zoom app and start or join the meeting you want to broadcast.

Once the meeting has begun, click the arrow next to the Start/Stop Video button and select 'Share Screen.' Choose the option to share your entire screen so attendees can see all applications and windows. This allows them to view the Zoom meeting along with any slides or other content you want to share.

Now click the arrow next to the Start/Stop Video button again and select 'Live on Facebook.' Sign into Facebook if prompted and authorize Zoom to access your profile and livestream videos. The first time you do this, it may take a few minutes to connect the two accounts.

On the next screen, choose a Facebook Page that people can follow to be notified of future livestreams. Give the video a title and description so people understand what they'll see if they tune in. You can also customize the thumbnail image that will represent the livestream.

When you're ready, click 'Go Live' to broadcast the Zoom meeting content to your Facebook Page in real-time. Attendees on Facebook will now be able to watch and interact and leave comments just like a normal Facebook Live video.

You'll see a live video overlay in the Zoom meeting so you know it's broadcasting. Be sure to test the livestream beforehand to work out any technical or permission issues. You can end the live video at any time by clicking the red 'Stop Broadcasting' button in Zoom.

Using these steps, you can consistently livestream your Zoom meetings and events to Facebook. It's a great way to expand your reach and keep remote audiences engaged. For the best results, be sure to promote each livestream on your smm panel in advance so more people are aware and tune in.

After the livestream, don't forget to download the video from your Facebook Page so it's archived for anyone who missed it live. You can then share it on other social profiles or your company website.

With livestreaming to Facebook, your Zoom meetings become more accessible and interactive for everyone. It's a valuable feature included with your Zoom account.
